Italian investor shows interest in electric vehicles, charge station project

An Italian Investor and Chief Executive Officer of Italian Company, Stuodo Legale Civitanova Marche, MaurizioNardozza visited alongwith a delegation to Sindh Investment Department and met Secretary Investment department Sindh Zahid Ali Abbasi here on Tuesday.

On this occasion Italian Investor showed keen interest in Investment in environment friendly transport i.e. electrical vehicles and charge station project.

Secretary Investment Zahid Ali Abbasi, while talking to the delegation, said that Sindh Government would welcome environment friendly transport project.

He said, “There is a big need of investment in transport sector in Sindh province especially in Karachi because Karachi is a mega and one of the largest cities in the world.”

He said that Sindh Government was striving to facilitate citizens with environment friendly transport.

The Secretary Investment appreciated the proposal of Italian Company and said that he would present it to Sindh Government. He assure his full support to the project.

Representative of K-electric said that as soon as we get detail requirements of electricity for this project, we would assure its provision accordingly.

The meeting was also attended by representative officers of Board of Investment (BOI) Pakistan besides officers of K-electric and other officers of investment department.
