TEHRAN – Israel targeted the Iranian province Isfahan with missile, the American media reported on Friday .
After the attack, the powerful explosions were heard, after which Iran suspended flights for several cities including Isfahan.
Iran criticized Israeli attacks. According to the media reports, Americans claimed that Israel targeted airports in Isfahan as well as in Syria and Iraq.
Iranian media confirmed explosions near Isfahan Airport, and after Israeli airstrikes, airports in Tehran, Shiraz, and Isfahan were closed.
Following the airport closures, all types of flights were suspended. Iran activated air defense systems in multiple cities, but so far, no damage reports have been received. The American media reported that Israeli warplanes flew in southern and western Iraq, targeting objectives in both Iraq and Syria.
