Police in federal capital announced a massive increase in vehicle verification although the procedure was made simple to facilitate public.
A notification shared by office of the IGP said “ New Police Fees are hereby notified for various services rendered by ICT Police, Islamabad with immediate effect”.
For Motorcycle Verification, the fee for bike verification has been increased from Rs500 to Rs1,000.
Motor Car Verification’s new fee price stands at Rs1500 and for Motor Car Verification (Forensic), citiznes need to pay Rs3,500. For Police Character Certificate, new fee stands at 1,000.
For Police General Verification, the new fee has been set at 1,000.

The notification said all concerned In-Charge’s/Operator’s posted in different facilitation center’s shall ensure collection of above mentioned fee and deposit the same along with a statement generated from their respective ID’s in the welfare account of ICT Police.
