Islamabad, Rawalpindi weather update for two days

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for most parts of Pakistan including the twin cities during the next couple of days.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country.

Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and most parts of Pakistan on Wednesday night and the following two days. Cold weather is expected in upper parts of the country.

In Islamabad, minimum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 10-12 degrees Celsius on Thursday and Friday.

In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature is likely to remain in the range of 13-15 C on Thursday and Friday.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over most parts of country and cold in northern parts during the last 24 hours.

Leh remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped to 04 C below the freezing point.

In Islamabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 11 C.

Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 54 per cent.

In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C.

Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 31 per cent.
