Met Office predicted frost at isolated places in capital region in the next 24 hours as twin cities remained under extreme weather conditions.
As per the synoptic conditions, foggy conditions are likely to develop in capital during night and morning hours. Under the current weather conditions, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Met Office said dense fog/smog is likely to persist at isolated places in Islamabad during the next 12 hours.
In Punjab, fog and smog are likely to persist in Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Okara, Kasur, Lahore, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Mangla, Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha, Mandi Bahauddin, Toba Tek Singh, Khanewal, Multan, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Hafizabad, Bhakkar, Layyah, and D.G Khan.
The foggy roads may force closure of Motorways and disrupt traffic on other inter and intra-city roads.
In the country’s capital, the minimum temperature will likely remain between 06-15 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Relative humidity during the evening was recorded at 44 percent.
