Islamabad police reject rumours of withdrawing Imran’s security

Islamabad police have rejected the rumours of withdrawing security from former premier Imran Khan.

According to the details, the Islamabad police have clarified that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s security has not been withdrawn and false rumours are being spread in this regard.

The capital police have said that Imran Khan is not only being given the usual security of former prime ministers but also provided more security than the prescribed number.

The capital police also stated that some additional security will also be provided to Imran Khan if required.

The capital police also explained that the police of other provinces can be called only with the permission of the Ministry of Interior and as per the police rules (in Islamabad at Bani Gala).

The Islamabad police also requested the public not to listen to

unconfirmed reports about Imran Khan’s security and cooperate with the capital police
