More intermittent rain and windstorms with isolated hailstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Thursday night and Friday.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over the western parts of the country.

Under the influence of this system, more intermittent rain and windstorms with isolated hailstorms are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and at scattered places in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Thursday night and Friday.
Temperature forecast:
The maximum temperature in Islamabad is expected to remain between 36°C and 38°C on Friday, 35°C and 37°C on Saturday, and 36°C and 38°C on Sunday.
The maximum temperature in Rawalpindi is expected to remain between 34°C and 36°C on Friday, 33°C and 35°C on Saturday, and 34°C and 36°C on Sunday.
Weather during the last 24 hours:
Rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Jacobabad during the last 24 hours.
Hot and dry weather prevailed over other parts of the country, while very hot weather persisted in southern districts.

In Islamabad, the maximum temperature reached 37°C, with evening humidity recorded at 45 per cent. In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was 35°C, while evening humidity stood at 26 per cent.
