ISLAMABAD – A female worker of a beauty salon was assaulted by the owners for unknown reasons in Lohi Bhair area of Islamabad, it emerged on Tuesday.
Police said the owners of the salon, along with influential individuals, reportedly assaulted the girl and also cut off her hair.
The SSP Operations has taken notice of the incident and has ordered the immediate registration of a case and the arrest of the perpetrators.
A spokesperson for the Islamabad Police confirmed that the victim’s video statement has been recorded. Police have conducted raids at various locations and arrested individuals implicated in the video.
The spokesperson added that the incident took place around a month and a half ago in the Rawalpindi area.
The suspects are being handed over to the relevant police authorities for further investigation.

A social media user shared a disturbing video of the assault, showing a beard person chopping the hair of the victim while a woman can also be seen in it.

The user claimed that the incident took place at SK Spa and Salon, adding that the worker was assaulted for refusing to develop physical relations with customers.
The social media user claimed that the salon owners also filmed the incident to blackmail her.
