Iqbal’s poems translated in Portuguese

For the first time the poetery, national poet of Pakistan Allama Iqbal has been translated in Portuguese by Marco Luccesi, Chairman of the Brazil Academy of Letters. This was stated by Dr. Yousuf Khushk, Chairman, PAL.

He said that the book entitled Prelude is the first translation of poems by Allama Iqbal in Brazil. The book will be released at the end of October by the publisher Mauad, from the city of Rio de Janeiro.
