Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Secretary Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Saturday expressed strong concern over the recent surge in petroleum prices, likening it to a painful experience for the public.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq criticized the latest hike in petrol costs, describing it as a burden on the people. She emphasized that the rise in petroleum product prices is unjustifiable in any situation, urging the interim government to explore avenues for easing the financial burden on citizens despite the challenges they face.
Furthermore, the IPP Secretary stressed that earning the support of the less fortunate can only be achieved through decisions that prioritize the welfare of the people. She highlighted that the IPP’s agenda offers a solution to fundamental public issues.
Dr. Firdous Ashiq emphasized that the IPP’s ascent to power is essential for addressing these problems. She asserted that the IPP is committed to bringing about peace, stability, and economic prosperity in the nation.
