Commissioner Rawalpindi Noorul Amin Mengal said that involvement of women in economic activities was vital for national the development.
Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RWCCI) was provided office at Crisis Center Social Welfare Complex Shamsabad to provide its services. The contract of the office was further extended by Noorul Amin Mengal. He said that Punjab government would allocate land for its (RWCCI) chambers.
The Commissioner Rawalpindi expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of Rawalpindi Women’s Chamber (RWCCI) on Wednesday.
Additional Commissioner Coordination Muhammad Saif Anwar Japa, Founder President Rawalpindi Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RWCCI) Asma Kanwal, President Shahid Butt, SVP Almas Akhtar, VP Noorin Tariq, CEO Neelam Khalid and Group leader Hina Mansab Khan was also present in the meeting.
Noorul Amin was briefed on the details of the chamber’s operations and said that the purpose of the chamber is to provide one-window facility for women workers. Chamber will provide an opportunity to interact with international counterparts as well as facilitate research and development. Our goal is to create a conducive environment to the development of women workers, to help local women workers establish and expand their business interests nationally and internationally. Creating work relationships, recognizing and awarding businesses owned by women workers is our prime priority. We focus on inviting and facilitating delegations of women workers nationally and internationally.
