Anti corruption establishment Hafizabad has started investigation of alleged bribery in recruitment from 2018 to 2023, corruption/receiving kickback in procurement and repairing works in District Education authority Hafizabad.
According to details, different reports were viral on social media and APCA Hafizabad was protested against Assistant Director Development Hafizabad Malik Sajid to defame the education department to receive heavy bribe from orphan children of teachers and other employees of education departments for recruiting under recruitment rules 17-A government of the Punjab during period of 2018-2023.
The Ex-Chief Executive Officer Education Hafizabad Javed Iqbal Babar was also received bribe and committed corruption in procurement of office items as well as procuring of electric water coolers on inflated prices for Insaf Afternoon girls schools in the district by his favorite Lahore based vendor for receiving kickbacks.
He also pressurized the head teachers of the grils schools through Deputy District Education and Assistant Education Officers to pay cheques of hefty amount to Lahore based vendor. Javed Iqbal Babar also purchased his office items and get make repair works only in papers and handed over cheques of a big amount to same vendor.
