Chairman Central Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee, Moulana Abdul Khabeer Azad has said that interfaith harmony, unity and solidarity is pivotal to thwart conspiracies of Anit-Islamic and Anti-Pakistan elements.
He was talking to media after addressing a religious and spiritual function at Jamia Qasim-ul-Uloom Vanike Road, Hafizabad.
He said that the state of Pakistan has given him the responsibility of Ruwait-e-Hilal and I will fulfill this responsibility with the cooperation of religious scholars belongs of all school of thought in letter and spirit.
He expressed his resolved that decisions of moon sighting would be made unanimously according to Shariah principles while technical assistance would be sought from Meteorological Department and Ministry of Science in the matter of moon sighting.
He also distributed prizes among Qari Muhammad Hassan Goraya, Hafiz Talal Arshad and other students who took first position in categories Quran memorization competition across Punjab.
