Leader of the House in the Senate, Senator Dr Shehzad Waseem, has said that promotion of religious unity and inter-faith harmony is need of the hour.
He was talking to the Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Allama Tahir Ashrafi, who called on him here in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Important issues and the current political situation in the country were discussed during the meeting.
