Inter-faith Harmony conference held

The ministry of religious affairs and inter-faith harmony organized interfaith con-ference here. Chairman of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee and Khateeb of Lahore’s famous Badshahi Mosque Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad was the chief guest of the conference. The conference was attended by Joint Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs Arshad Fareed, Finance Minister Gilgit-Baltistan JavedM anwa, Chairman National Minorities Commission Dr. Cheela Raaam Kulalnii, Representative of Ahle Tashee Allama Karamat Hussain Najafi, Sheikh Mirza Ali President Shia Ulema Council Gilgit and others. While addressing the conference, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad stated that inter-faith and inter-religious harmony is the need of the hour.

He stated the people of Gilgit are patriotic and honest as they are the pride and glory of Pakistan. Moreover, he viewed that India wanted to spread chaos in Pakistan and added that people wouldn’t allow the enemy’s agenda to succeed in country at any cost.
