A 12-member delegation consisting of senior lawyers of Sindh and members of Insaf Lawyers Forum called on Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Thursday.
The federal government is taking steps to address the problems of the legal community, the Governor told the visitors.
He said lawyers were an important part of society, adding that the government will solve their problems on priority basis.
Imran Ismail viewed that the role of the legal community in providing justice to the people was of utmost importance. “The services of lawyers for the rule of law and rule of law are commendable.”
The delegation expressed concern over the current public issues in Sindh and the irresponsible attitude of the Sindh government
The visiting team decided to take legal steps to solve public problems.The people of Sindh are deprived of basic human needs.
Due to the poor governance of the Sindh government, the citizens are not getting any help. Incidents of human rights violations are on the rise.
The delegation included Barrister Mustafa Mahesar, Advocate MumtazGopang, Advocate Anwar Kamal, Advocate RiazEffendi, Advocate Wahab Baloch, Advocate AjmalSolangi, Advocate Bhagwan Das Bheel, Advocate Altaf Malik, Advocate Faisal Mughal, Advocate Ahmed Rashid and Advocate Ali Palh.
Leader of Opposition Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh and Adviser to Governor Sindh Omaid Ali Junejo were also present in the meeting.
