National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar has said that industrial zones are being established in various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for creating employment opportunities while efforts are being made to increase trade with Afghanistan and Central Asian State.
While addressing the Sehat Card Distribution ceremony in Town Municipal Hall Topi, District Swabi, Asad Qaisar said the government is taking more steps to increase the Pak-Afghan trade for creating opportunities to eradicate poverty.
Eliminating trade barriers along with facilitating traders would not only enhance the trade volume between Pakistan and Afghanistan but would also greatly contribute to poverty eradication and social uplift, he said.
He said that Gadoon Industrial areas would be connected with motorways and Rashakai Economic Zone would change the destiny of the area by creating endless opportunities for development and growth.
The NA speaker said also announced the up-gradation of Swabi-Topi road to a dual carriageway and said that Swabi Grid Station and Power The transformer in Gadoon would be upgraded to address the issue of low voltage in the areas, he added.
Qaisar said that numerous mega projects have been initiated by the government of PTI for the welfare of people and all the promises made to them would be fulfilled. He said that representation of Pashtuns in parliament has resulted in the initiation of development and welfare-oriented projects in KP province.
