Kotli,
Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation Vice Chairman and Convener Mahmood Akhtar Qureshi Advocate has said that unarmed Kashmiri people on both sides of the Line of Control stand like a leaden wall against Indian aggression.
These views were expressed by Mahmood Akhtar during his visit to District Headquarters Hospital Kotli. Talking to Kashmiris and their families affected by the unprovoked shelling by Indian army at Khoi Ratta Janjut Bahadur Chattar, he lamented the loss of life and property in the Indian firing and said that the Kashmiri people would not be intimidated by Indian atrocities.
He appealed to the international community and international human rights organizations to take stern notice of India’s daily violations of the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) and demanded initiation of war crimes against India in the International Court of Justice.
He said that cowardly Indian troops have targeted unarmed people, innocent children and their houses in Azad Kashmir’s Neelum Valley.
On this occasion, people who were injured in the Indian firing told him that 11 people including a six-year-old girl were injured in the unprovoked firing of the Indian Army at a wedding ceremony in Janjut Bahadur Chattar.—KMS
