Indian troops martyr three more youth in IIOJK, toll rises to 9 in 48 hours

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three more Kashmiri youth in Srinagar city, today, raising the number of martyred youth in the territory to nine in 48 hours.

The troops martyred the youth during a cordon and search operation in Panthachowk area of the city. Earlier, three Indian police men and a paramili-tary Central Reserve Police man were injured in an attack in the same area on Thursday evening.

The operation was continuing till the last reports came in. The martyrdom of three more Kashmiri youth in Srinagar, today, raised the number of slain youth to nine since Wednesday night.

Meanwhdile, in IIOJK, Ittehad-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir and Falah Party Jammu and Kashmir have strongly denounced the fresh killing spree unleashed by Indian troops in the territory and reaffirmed the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their struggle for securing their right to self-determination till complete success.

The spokesman of Ittehad-e-Islami, Mufti Pir Abdul Jabbar Sajjad, in a statement issued in Srinagar paid rich tributes to the youth martyred by Indian troops in Srinagar, Islamabad and Kulgam areas and said that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste.

The Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir Falah Party, Dr Akhtar Rasool Falahi, in a statem ent in Srinagar strongly condemned the extra-judicial killing of the Kashmiri youth by Indian troops during the so-called cordon and search operations. He said that the Modi-led fascist government was involved in the genocide of the Kashmiri youth to turn the Muslim majority in the territory into a majority.—KMS
