In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an Indian policeman was killed and four forces’ per-sonnel were injured in a grenade blast in Bandipora district, today.
Officials said that unidentified persons hurled a grenade towards a joint party of Indian police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) near Nishat Park in Bandipora, leaving four police personnel and a CRPF man injured.
The injured, four policemen and a CRPF sol-dier, were taken to the hospital. However one cop identified as Zubair Ahmad succumbed to the inju-ries.
Soon after the incident, Indian troops and police personnel cordoned off the area and launched searches to nab the attackers.—KMS
