Indian Muslims determined their destiny on March 23

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has said that Muslims of the sub-continent determined their destiny on March 23, 1940 and this day is a golden day of the country’s history.

In his message on Pakistan Day marked on Tuesday, he renewed the pledge not to spare any sacrifice for the security, stability and development of the country.

Chief Minister Jam Kamal prayed that may Allah Almighty make Pakistan the cradle of peace and keep it safe from epidemics like Coronavirus.

The day marks the adoption of the historic Lahore Resolution on this day in 1940 that provided a framework for realization of the goal of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub continent.

He said that March 23,1940 was the day when Muslims of Hindustan under the guidance of great leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had passed the resolution which become start for achieving a separate country.—INP
