In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian military authorities and their agencies have tightened restrictions in Srinagar and adjoining dis-tricts following pro-freedom and anti-India protests in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops and police personnel are maintaining strict vigil across hotspots in Srinagar and adjacent dis-tricts to thwart any protests.Additional Indian forces including paramilitary and police personnel have been deployed at vital spots. Apart from that drones, CCTV surveillance, nakas and frisking points are in place.
An Indian army officer said cordon and search operations, nakas, checking points will also con-tinue to operate along the major highways in Kash-mir Valley and more Indian armed personnel are being deployed in other areas as well.—KMS
