In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, an officer of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was killed in an attack in Pulwama, today.
Unidentified gunmen fired at a joint checkpoint of Indian forces in Gangoo crossing area from a nearby apple orchard, resulting in the injuring of CRFP Sub Inspector, Vinod Kumar. He was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Soon after the incident, Indian troops and police cordoned off the area and launched searches to nab the attackers.—KMS
