An Indian army man was injured in a firing incident in Poonch district of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian army man suffered injury in left foot as his rifle went off accidentally in Krishna Ghati area of the district, officials said.
The soldier, who was part of a patrolling team, slipped after losing balance which led to accidental fire from his service weapon, the officials said, adding that the injured was immediately shifted to hospital where he is under treatment. On the other hand, a man killed his wife in Cheki Audoora Mawer area of Kupwara district.—KMS
