An Indian army man died of a suspected heart attack in Sawjian area of Poonch district, almost a fifth such case in the past few days among Indian armed forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
One Naik Sunil Kumar faced a major heart attack while on duty and died instantly. A police party reached the spot to collect necessary details. A police official has in the meantime also confirmed the death of the Indian army man.
It is worth mentioning here that an Assistant Sub-inspector of Border Security Force identified as B L Jonko, died of a cardiac attack in Mendhar, Poonch on March 13, an Indian army officer Col R.S. Kadwasara in Leh, Ladakh on March 7, a constable of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Lethpora in Srinagar on March 6 and a colonel, name not disclosed, died of a heart attack in Baramulla district on March 3.—KMS
