In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel are keeping an eye on all roads, routes and highways to make the India’s enforced Republic Day celebra-tions sail through as Kashmiris observe 26 January as Black Day in the territory.
Indian authorities and intelligence agencies have directed officers to lay joint nakas and ensure frisk-ing on all roads and areas and intensify night patrol-ling on the highways. The authorities reviewed the security arrange-ment in and around Srinagar and Jammu areas where the Indian Republic Day celebrations will take place on January 26.
The Indian troops, Central Reserve Police Force and police personnel have tightened checks in all towns ahead of the event.—KMS
