Incubation Centre inaugurated at PMAS-AAUR

An Incubation Centre established at Institute of Information technology of Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi with aim to promote entrepreneurship among university students.

The centre will not only provide students a workplace by organizing training courses & workshops but also teach, guide and help students to formalize their projects.

PMAS-AAUR Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman inaugurated the Centre and said that Incubation Centres are playing an important role and such a centre is the need of time at PMAS-AAUR.

By establishing this centre, PMAS-AAUR has now been included in the list of only few universities in the region who are facilitating their students to learn and convert the knowledge into the products leading to successful business startups, he added.

He advised the students to equip themselves with practical experience in addition to the theoretical concepts.

This in turn will not only produce good quality products but also open the new avenues of businesses and jobs for the community particularly the University graduates, he added.
