The PML-N Vice President, Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan took a false vote of confidence and made the parliamentarians vote for him at gun point.
Talking to media, the PML-N leader said that she was proud of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Musaddiq Malik, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Maryam Aurangzeb for taking on vote thieves and PTI goons like lions.
“A handful of lions proved too much for a few dozen ‘burgers’, a lion is a lion, jackals are jackals”, she added.
Maryam Nawaz said that when PTI was in opposition, they used to bully in the Parliament.
Today, when they are in power, they have acted the same way. They showed the worst possible behaviour by throwing a shoe at Ahsan Iqbal and attacking Marriyum Aurangzeb.
Today, the entire country is ashamed, every daughter and mother in Pakistan bows their head in shame.
PML-N is not an orphaned party, bullying is not countered with morality, she said.
“My head is held high with pride, how you confronted a few dozen rented goons and forced them to run,” she told the PML-N leaders.
“You told the nation that the nation’s representatives, lions, can overwhelm a few dozen goons.”
Maryam said she was not surprised to see the visuals of the scuffle on television, saying “when a jackal’s death comes then it runs towards the city”.
She said when the PTI was in the opposition, its supporters “did hooliganism on the parliament like this and now that they’re in government, even if through a false manner, they exhibited the same hooliganism today”.
