ISLAMABAD – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has confidently said that PTI’s founding chairman Imran Khan would soon be released from jail as well.

Ali Amin Gandapur neither confirmed nor denied his role in Bushra Bibi’s release. When asked about his possible involvement, he avoided a direct response, saying that Bushra Bibi was released based on the court’s orders.

He stated that she was sent to jail on false charges and is now out on bail granted by the court. He insisted that Imran Khan would also be released from jail soon.

When asked if any assurances were involved in Bushra Bibi’s release, Gandapur replied, “We do not believe in deals and will not enter into any deal.”

Asked why he was confident about Imran Khan’s early release, he said it was because the cases against Imran Khan were also fabricated.

On the question of whether PTI would continue its policy of criticizing the military as an institution and the army chief, he clarified, “We are not against the institution or any individual (army chief); we are against certain policies and want them to be corrected.”
