Imran Ismail, Khurrum booked over chaos outside Malir Court

The Karachi police on Thursday lodged a case against former Sindh governor Imran Ismail, PTI Sindh parliamentary leader Khurrum Sher Zaman and other party leaders over creating chaos outside Malir court.

The FIR was registered against PTI leadership at Malir City police station for interfering in state affairs.According to the FIR, Imran Ismail along with 200 PTI leaders climbed on police van outside Malir court. It said that PTI workers also hurled abuses at police during Ali Zaidi’s court appearance.A local court today granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh president Ali Haider Zaidi in a ‘fraud’ case.

Ali Haider Zaidi was arrested, last week, after a case was registered against him at Ibrahim Hyderi police station on ‘fraud’ charges.The court’s Judge Ahmad Ali Gabol granted bail to Ali Zaidi and ordered him to submit Rs. 10,000 surety bonds in the court.

The PTI leader was brought to Malir court under strict security after his physical remand expired today. The police pleaded to the court to extend the physical remand of Ali Zaidi, but it was turned down.

 

The first information report (FIR) of the case was registered on the complaint of a property dealer, Fazal Elahi, against the PTI leader.
