In an emotional address during an Eid gathering at Syed Wajid Hussain Bukhari’s residence in Al-Hadi House, Attock, former Provincial Minister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari, passionately called for the release of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Bukhari, reflecting on the values that brought PTI to power, emphasized the need for true democracy and the eradication of corruption in Pakistan.
Expressing gratitude to supporters for their unwavering dedication, Bukhari acknowledged the challenges he faced, including severe health setbacks that affected his ability to actively engage with his constituents. Despite personal hardships, Bukhari underscored the importance of staying committed to the principles of justice and public service.
During his speech, Bukhari also highlighted the exodus of young people from the country, stressing the urgency of addressing the issues that compel them to leave. He lamented the injustices faced by himself and others, including members of his family, without clarity on the reasons behind their plight. Supporting Imran Khan’s stance on prioritizing public welfare, Bukhari praised the Pakistan Army for its steadfast commitment to national security, affirming its revered position in the hearts of Pakistanis.
Amid calls for unity within PTI and the broader political landscape, Bukhari cautioned against attempts to sow divisions within the party ranks. He concluded by thanking attendees, including PTI officials, workers, voters, and journalists, for their presence and support.
