Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IMDC) welcomed 18th batch of MBBS and 14th batch of BDS students in 2 separate orientation ceremonies. The new students of the 2024 session were warmly welcomed by the college administration, faculty members, and the members of higher management. Interactive sessions and engaging activities were conducted for the new students throughout the day.
Chairman IMDC Dr. Ghulam Akbar Khan Niazi, CEO Yasir Khan Niazi, Principal Prof. Dr. Syed Irfan Ahmed, Principal Dental Section Prof. Dr. HaroonShahidQazi and Project Director Dr. Khurshid Ahmad attended the orientation.
The Chairman and principals gave the welcome remarks to the new students. The Chairman stated that IMDC is one of the best colleges in the country because of its commitment to providing its students with the highest standards of education, mentorship, and resources to shape their future success in the field of medicine and dentistry.
Yasir Khan Niazi motivated the new students by stating, “This is the start of a new chapter in your life. While you embark on this journey, you must take responsibility for your future and work hard to become an integral part of society.” He informed students that IMDC is incorporating AI based learning into its system to keep producing high quality doctors.
The orientation also provided a platform for students to connect with their peers.
