Imams urged to deliver lectures on rising social evils

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the High Court Bar Association (HCBA) has urged the Valley-based imams to deliver special lectures on the rising social evils.

The HCBA in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “We impress upon the imams of the Valley to deliver special lectures on Fridays for the eradica-tion of social evils prevalent in our society.

” The statement said that the HCBA Executive Committee in a meeting in Srinagar on Thursday strongly condemned the brutal act of the unscrupu-lous persons who attacked the girl with acid.
