Calling Rs10 per liter and Rs5 per unit slash in petrol and electricity prices, respectively another ‘U-turn’ taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan, former prime minister and senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Tuesday that they would have still to pay for that one day, if not today, then some other day.

Talking to the media persons outside an accountability court in Islamabad, Abbasi said that the government claims of accountability of the ‘corrupt’ had been exposed. “The government ministers have proved themselves to be most ‘corrupt’,” he alleged.

“The PTI came to power through unconstitutional means, but will be overthrown through constitutional means,” he said, and added that Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) still had time to part ways with the government. —Staff Reporter
