Illegal gateway exchange raided

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in its ongoing efforts in curtailing grey telephone trafficking carried out a successful raid, in coordination with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), in Faisalabad. The raid was conducted at Janjua Business Centre, Wapda City Faisalabad where an operational illegal gateway exchange and 10 phone connections were confiscated. This successful raid was made possible because of continuous monitoring, and persistent efforts by PTA and cooperation of FIA in stopping grey traffic thus curbing the loss to national exchequer due to these grey traffickers.
