IIOJK man arrested in Maharashtra on fake charge

The Maharashtra police have arrested a man from Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in a fake case of fund transfers.

A police official in Mumbai said they have arrested a 32-year-old man from Doda district in Jammu. He said the detainee was intending to transfer funds into the accounts of one Juanid Mohammad Ata Mohammad. “We are conducting further probe into the case,” the official added.

The relatives and friends of the detained person ridiculed the charges and said that Modi-led Indian government under a well-orchestrated policy is harassing Kashmiris in and outside the valley in an attempt in vain to quench their spirit for freedom.—INP
