The High Court of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir has quashed the illegal detention of two persons booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA).
According to Kashmir Media Service, a bench of Justice Sindhu Sharma, quashed detention under PSA against Mohammad Haneef Guroo of Rabitar, Ganderbal, and directed the authorities to release him forthwith, if he was not required in any other case.
The bench of Rajnesh Oswal quashed the detention order under PSA against Adil Afzal Lone issued by District Magistrate of Srinagar. The court ordered the authorities to release the detainee if not required in any other case.—KMS
