The High Court of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has quashed the illegal detention of three persons booked under draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA).
According to Kashmir Media Service, a bench of Justice M A Chaudhry quashed the detention order against Aqib Zahoor Ganie of Budgam while Justice Sanjay Dhar quashed the detention orders of Khursheed Ahmad Sanaie of Budgam and Ashiq Hussain Butt of Srinagar.
Aqib Zahoor Ganie was detained on April 15, 2022 passed by the District Magistrate of Budgam while Khursheed Ahmad Sanai was booked by the District Magistrate on September 20, 2022. Ashiq Hussain Butt was taken into custody on the order passed by District Magistrate of Srinagar on April 7, .2022.—KMS
