ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered the removal of former federal minister for human rights Shireen Mazari’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz heard the case while former PTI leader Shireen Mazari appeared in the court along with her lawyer.
NAB prosecutor Raffay Maqsood said, “We had recommended removing Shireen Mazari’s name from the ECL back in March because she is not an accused in the £190 million case.”
The assistant attorney general stated that the prime minister was also informed about it on March 27. At which, Justice Imtiaz remarked: “The cabinet has a lot of work to do, and we handle this work.”
The court later wrapped up the Mazari’s petition by removing his name from the no-fly list.
