Inspector General Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed to the investigation officers to expedite the investigation of cases, improve their performance and warned of strict action over negligence and carelessness.
The IGP issued the directives in meetings with AIG Investigation, SSP Investigation and SP Investigation during his visit to the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) on Thursday.
Syed Ali NasirRizvi on the occasion assessed the performance of the CIA and issued important directives to the officers.
Measures were taken to curb car theft by enhancing anti-vehicle lifting patrols in the city and apprehending car thieves to recover stolen vehicles, he added.
The IGP Islamabad issued strict instructions to all officers to fulfill their duties with merit and justice, and to avoid any injustice towards anyone.
