IGP seeks VCs’ help to curb drug at varsities

The Islamabad IG Police has written a letter to the chancellors of all universities located in the federal capital seeking their cooperation and support in curbing the use of drugs on campuses.

The IG Police urged the universities’ heads to inform police if they observe any illegal activity being performed on the premises of universities. He said that police and university administration will have to work jointly to eliminate the use of drugs and other crimes. He also said that he had written two letters in the past and this third one is a reminder.—APP
