IGP for action against culprits violating law & order during LG polls



Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon said that the situation was under control after brawls in a few places during the local government (LG) elections in the province.

He said that strict action would be taken against culprits who had tried to create law and order situation in the province.

The IGP said that the process of voting ended peacefully across the province, except at few places, where there were reports of clashes between the political parties, but the situation was now under control.

He further said that he himself was monitoring the whole security situation from CPO.
