Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Riffat Mukhtar has instructed law enforcement personnel to enforce the election code of conduct and initiate public awareness campaigns to inform citizens about police efforts to maintain law and order during the upcoming General Election 2024.
The directives were issued during IGP’s visits to the Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad ranges, where he chaired meetings to discuss security arrangements for the upcoming election. IGP Sindh, Riffat Mukhtar emphasized the urgent need for finalizing security plans, allocating resources, and engaging with local stakeholders for comprehensive security measures.
