In light of directives passed by Government of Pakistan and Ministry of Energy IESCO has decided to take action against defaulters under which a list of electricity defaulters of Government and semi-Government institutions has been compiled. According to the details, Azad Kashmir Government, Federal and Provincial government and semi-government institutions are electricity defaulters of IESCO of 71519 Millions.
According to the details, Azad Kashmir government has to pay 60706 million for the electricity to IESCO, while the Federal Government institutions have to pay 10276 million and the provincial government institutions have to pay 538 millions. Government institutions situated in IESCO Islamabad circle 7948 million, Rawalpindi city circle 1372 million, Rawalpindi cant circle 35222 million, Chakwal circle 39 million, Attock circle 8 million and Jhelum Circle 27218 million are IESCO defaulters.
