ICT police crackdown on criminals: drugs, weapons seized


Islamabad Capital Territory police have arrested 13 outlaws from various areas of the city and reco vered, stolen valuable drugs, and weapons with ammunition from their possession during the last 24 hours, a Police Public Relation Officer said.

He said that DIG (Operations) Sohail Zafar Chathahad categorically ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in looting innocent people and involved in illegal activities.

Following these directives, I-Area police arrested the accused namely Abdul Majid and recovered one 3o bore pistol from his possession.

Similarly, the Sihala police team arrested and accused namely

SajidWaseem and recovered stolen valuables from his possession.

Likewise, Lohibher police team apprehended accused Abdul Rehman and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from his possession.

Nilor police team arrested the accused namely Azhar Mehmood and recovered 1240 gram hashish from his possession.

Moreover, Koral police team arrested two accused namely Raisat and Mohsan Waseem and recovered 1130 gram hashish and one30 bore pistol

along with ammunation from their possession. Khanna police team arrested accused Zabi Ullah and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunation from their possession.

Cases against all the nominated accused have been registered and further investigation is underway. While, during a special crackdown against absconders,police teams nabbed six proclaimed offenders from various areas of the city.Islamabad capital police intensify the ongoing crackdown against criminal elements in order to reduce crime and arrest the culprits involved in it.
