Ice curling sports training camp starts today

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA) and Winter sports Federation Pakistan is going to organize Ice Curling Sports Training Camp today in Parwak Upper Chitral. More than fifty athletes will participate in the sports camp.

The Director General of Culture and Tourism Authority Muhammad Bakhtiar Khan stated in a briefing that the winter sports activity will be held in a snowcapped area of Parwak Upper Chitral. The activity is expected to attract tourists and will also provide sporting activities to the sportsmen of those Districts.

The sportsmen of Broghil, Yarkhun Lasht, Laspur and nearby areas of Chitral will be participating in the training. DG KPCTA also highlighted that the three days camp held by expert Canadian coaches will help participants to learn and adapt essential lifelong skills and exploit the tremendous potential of snow sports in the upper Chitral.
