A delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with the caretaker provincial minister for industry, commerce and energy SM Tanweer in his office. Discussions were held on the establishment of Islamabad Industrial Estate in Chakri (Chakwal) area.
The delegation led by President ICCI Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawri demanded the provincial minister to provide land for the establishment of Industrial Estate in Chakwal and to agree to provide financial support for the completion of the project.
Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce SM Tanveer assured support for the establishment of the Industrial Estate and directed CEO PEIDMC to prepare a comprehensive plan with the collaboration with the Islamabad Chamber. Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce SM Tanveer said that the promotion of industries is indispensable for the development of the economy and increasing employment opportunities.
The Punjab government is taking all possible steps to speed up the process of industrial development. All possible facilities are being given to the industrialists to keep the wheels of the industry moving.
