A man tortured his wife to death over minor domestic issue here on Friday and escaped the scene, police said.
According to details, the incident took place in Ferozwala area Sheikhupura where accused Ali Nawaz and his wife exchanged hot words over the woman taunted her son.
The culprit, along with his sister Zainab, brutally tortured Sugharan Bibi with batons which resulted in her death. The accused escaped the scene after the incident and body was shifted to hospital for postmortem. —INP
