Hub Dam’s water level rises to 328 feet after recent rain spell

The recent spell of monsoon rains in various parts of Sindh and Balochistan has increased the water level in Hub Dam to 328 feet, sources informed.
According to Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) sources, the water level in Hub Dam was at 312 feet before the onset of rains, but due to recent rains, the water level in Hub Dam has now crossed 320 feet.
The KWSB sources informed that more than 8 feet of water has come in a few days so far and this water storage is enough for Karachi till the year 2022.
