The Meteorological Department has sounded alarms by predicting hot and dry weather, with maximum temperatures up to 39 degrees Celsius and high humidity in the provincial metropolis on Saturday.
According to the Meteorological Department, hot and dry weather will increase the temperature and high humidity will increase the confinement. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius in the morning. Similarly, the humidity in the morning was 65% while in the evening it was 51%.
The Meteorological Department has also forecast dry weather on Saturday.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar has sought a report on the damage caused by rains during the monsoon. The chief minister has also directed a survey to assess the loss to life and property during the rain.
